Meet the Excel North Team

Excel North Physical Therapy & Performance co-founders Jamie Foreman, MPT and DJ Lahti, DPT have over 25 years of combined clinical experience in physical therapy. Born and raised in the northland, Jamie and DJ have a passion for providing the highest quality patient-centered therapy experience for the community and surrounding areas. Their philosophy? The most important part of physical therapy is quality interaction.

Jamie Foreman

MPT, OCS, FAFS

Jamie has been practicing physical therapy since 2004 after earning her master’s degree in physical therapy from The College of St. Scholastica where she played on the women’s soccer team.

In 2008, she graduated from the Gray Institute as a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS). As a Fellow, she has trained extensively in Applied Functional Science and has expertise in Full Body Chain Reaction, Biomechanical Assessment and Treatment Design.

In 2014, she became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Jamie sees the potential in each patient and has a passion for helping them achieve their goals.

DJ Lahti

DPT

DJ has over a decade of experience in the physical therapy field where he has been extensively trained in sports rehabilitation, Michigan State Manual Medicine, spinal manipulation, and is a certified specialist in dry needling through Myopain Seminars.

DJ has been involved in sports his entire life, including playing four years of collegiate baseball at The College of St. Scholastica (CSS). In addition to his clinical experience, DJ has served as an adjunct professor in the physical therapy department at CSS since 2010.

DJ enjoys working with all people and likes to pair his life experiences with his extensive physical therapy training to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for total recovery of function.
